Name lawsuit against Apple’s iCloud withdrawn
Phoenix – The way is clear: Apple’s iCloud can now come, because a US company dropped their claims to the brand name of the planned online service. The company, iCloud Communications, sued Apple in June in Arizona and demanded compensation.
The claim has now been withdrawn without giving any reason. The local newspaper “Phoenix New Times” reported on Tuesday that the company also changed its name. Apple plans to launch its iCloud platform, which will store content from various devices such as iPhones, iPads or Mac computers, and be available to users in the fall.
